As the holiday season returns, so does Jingle Ball. iHeartRadio’s holiday concert returns to the Wells Fargo Center on December 16 and many Philly fans are eager for its arrival. Looking back on previous years, it is apparent that Philadelphia has gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to who is performing, but this year Philly’s lineup is just as superior as cities like New York’s.
For the past 28 years, Jingle Ball has been one of the most well known holiday traditions and this year should be no different. The line up includes number one artists like pop star Tate McRae, whose stage presence has been compared to legends Micheal Jackson and Madonna, country artists Shaboozey, who rose in popularity for his country song, “Tipsy”, and Jason Derul,o who is well known for his singles, “Ridin’ Solo” and “Marry Me”, Katy Perry whose songs, “Firework” and “Teenage Dream” topped many charts, and Gracie Abrams, who just released her deluxe album The Secret of Us. Along with this exciting lineup, Jingle Ball offers a different perspective from other concerts as it attempts to get fans into the holiday spirit.
It offers festive decorations and holiday inspired covers and features of songs. It also offers a wide diversity of artists with each lineup including some of the biggest names in each genre.
Whether you want to experience the holiday spirit or sing along with your favorite artists, this year’s Jingle Ball offers it all.
